Our new Luminescent Coatings may be applied in a similar way to our standard product line as a one-part coating by brush or applicator, then UV cured on-demand instantly.

The luminescent particles have a lifespan of around 10 years after which time a re-coating is easily accomplished.

The coating requires only 10 minutes of sunlight or lamp light to provide enough energy to last for 12 hours.

About 50% of the light emitting energy is used in the first hour but remains at close to that reduced level for an additional 11 hours.

It is an excellent product for true energy conservation as no lighting is required to outline areas with safety concerns typically found in marine related areas.

Dock edge definition, slip numbers, gangways, gates, pathways and steps all need illumination at some point.

We have now successfully incorporated this incredible capability into a marine tested coating that will withstand the challenging marine environment.
